Palmyra Patong Resort Phuket - Sha Extra Plus

Room was spacious but dated with a tiny balcony.

The location was marvellous, for example, an elaborate mall was within walking distance of the hotel. The deluxe king room didn't seem appealing on photos but it was cheap. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, best sleep ever.

Had not great breakfast, it might be way much better.

The location was particularly good, with restaurants and bars close to the hotel. The room was good-sized and well-appointed with balcony and view and they provided wake-up service when I asked.

Quiet location, spacious two-bedroom villa, convenient access to local amenities

Considering its age, the facilities are in desperate need of a refresh!!! It left a subpar impression!!!

The location is great, 1 mile from an elaborate mall. Close to the hotel there are bars and restaurants.

The peaceful environment allowed for restful nights despite being close to Patong's nightlife. I especially enjoyed the ample breakfast options that filled me up every morning.

Unfortunately all the superior rooms were booked out when we made our booking so we had to book a standard room. I was a little concerned about this as I had read previous reviews that lead me to believe that this was a bad move. However when we opened the door to our room I was pleasantly surprised with how clean and spacious it was, it even had a stocked minibar! The staff at the hotel we wonderful, we were greeted with cold drinks on arrival and not once during our 4 day stay did I feel the staff were rude towards us. The pool is fantastic, nice and cool after a hard day shopping. The poolside bar is quite affordable and again the service is superb. I enjoyed the breakfast each morning and felt that there was enough variety to cater for different tastes. The location is great only a short walk (5mins max) to Bangla road and the beach. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a budget quality hotel near Patong Beach!!! Thank you Palmyra staff for making our stay fantastic!!!

A negative about this hotel is the short walk into the main part of Patong Beach, unfortunately it is lined with people who will hassle you to purchase things. This is something that comes with staying in Patong and has nothing to do with Palmyra hotel at all. You could pay top dollar for a wonderful resort and as soon as you walk out on the street, it is guaranteed that someone will hassle you for a tuktuk ride, to buy a fake handbag or to have a suit made. I would suggest that you prepare yourself for this, especially if Patong beach is going to be your first stop in Thailand.

Near shopping area just walk around 10min to bangla road.food and massage also cheap thn other patong area .

Marvellous and cool location, 15 minutes' walk to an elaborate mall. Spacious and cheap room with a bathroom, really good staff. Excellent service, free parking available on-site.

We really enjoyed our stay! The breakfast was amazing with plenty of options and the pool area was such a relaxing spot to unwind. Our villa gave us all the space we needed, especially with two bathrooms! Just a few things to note, though, the beach was a bit crowded for our liking, and some amenities weren’t exactly as pictured. I'd definitely return!

Everything was done with a smile, beautiful people work there. Will recomend it to any person that is going to Patong.

One small issue is that we had a pool access room and people thought they could take a short cut to there room by walking past our room. Maybe a sign or block it off completely. Had one person come and sit in a chair while we where showering.

Location is good. 5 minutes to the Patong beach and there are many agencies and massage shops around.

No sense of design.
